yes it will fit but the mounts are entirley different.

why do u need to ask? correct me if im wrong but not many s2 boxes have the lsd as standard either

i had a spare box from an mk3 xr3, which i gave to my mate to put in his S1 that was nearly 3 years ago, and its still going strong!

you best bet is to find a mk3, unless ur competent to make up a bracket!

All S2 have LSD's as standard

 

An S1 box will go in an S2 but the S2 box will not go in an S1 because the casing is different where the mounts go!!
all S2's came with an LSD as standard!!

correctamundo the easiest way to do it if u have a s2 box and a fucked s1 box is to swap everything out of the s2 box into the s1 casing

 

swap the end casing over between the 2
