Have a Fairly standard, just rebuilt FRST engine dropped into my escort with omex + scorpion system. After I finish running it in and change to a hybrid stage 2 turbo would it be stupid to ask turbo technics to put an External Wastegate on ? I don kno whether u need big HP to have one or not...

 

External wastegates are mostly used for regulating boost levels more precisely than internal wastegates in high power applications, and im doubt that engine would push enough power to warrant considering one.
I would personally stay internally gated if only to have a wider range of 'off the shelf' turbos available.

You have no need unless burning money is a hobby
