Hi all

My mates got an ecu his brother has give him he said it was chiped as car was not std.he aint no way of checking on car yet but we have taken it apart an its just got a black chip with no sticker on!!!!
can the ecu just be re maped an not use a chip????

 

The ECU should have had the chip changed or at least a baby board fitted depending on who has worked on the ECU.
