Universal turbos T38 and an rs500 spec garrett T4
1 universal turbos T38 turbo for sale
was bought new a couple of years ago for £1200 (need to check but pretty sure)
then last year the air filter hose came off and a part of the silicone got sucked into the turbo and ruined it,
then it got rebuilt by turbo developments in london rebuilt it with a new core, shaft, wheels,
pretty much a new turbo with the old casings that were new a couple of years ago. at a cost of £500 (have reciept)
since then its covered about 1000 miles
also comes with the -31 actuator and bracket
the comp housing is a .50 AR and the exh is a .63AR
made 420 bhp on my engine at 2 bar with a bit more to go
rated to 450ish

a friend of mine paid £1500 for this 5 years ago, and was going to use it on a project car but it was too big for his spec, then i bought it and had it balanced and a different exhaust housing fitted (he had an external wastegate fitted, i changed it to a 2 part rs500 housing fitted) .63AR
it has probably covered 50 miles and is brand new, not even dirty, its been sat in my garage for years as i bought it for an old project that i then sold before fitting it.
ive been told it has an RS 500 T4 shaft, wheels and a garret .50AR comp housing (not genuine rs500 but same size and spec) and the exh housing is 2 part garrett rs 500.
been told its capable of over 450bhp
its huge, the housing is only about 2mm away from the head when fitted on a 2wd manifold.
ive been offered £800 but think its worth more, so make me a good offer.
both are nearly new hardly used and in perfect working order with no smoke or play at all.
both setup for a 2wd cos but will fit anything just need to move housings around. both have the usual left hand thread, balanced, cut back blades, 360 degree bearings staggered gap seals.......
any inspection welcome, collection or delivery but post wont be cheap as they are heavy.
selling due to new engine spec and upgrades.
will put on ebay tomorow
