Anyone on here from Belgium?
Hi all, Need some info please. My apologies for my ignorance but I know nothing about Belgium hence why I'm asking. Thanks.
Have you ever been to Zolda Raceway? What's it like?
How does the emergency services work over there? Is it like ours with Ambulance and Fire service etc or more US style with Hundreds of Rescue personnel?
Do many Belgians speak English?
What's the equivelant number to 999 and do they speak English?
Do you have the name of the nerest hospital to Zolda raceway?
Cheers all, any phrases much appreciated too.
Andy

112 is the emergency number, a LOT of Belgian people speak english, from my time there.
112 is the international number for emergency services, and can also be used in the UK.
THIS IS VITAL TO KNOW IF PHONING FROM A MOBILE - READ ON
If you cannot get reception on your network 999 will only(as far as I am aware) ONLY try your network.
112 will go to the best signal REGARDLESS OF NETWORK, even in the UK, but please don't try it, unless you have to, but rest assured it DOES work.

I live 1 km from Belgium so i'm almost a Belgian.
Most people talk English and rescue is more like in the UK and not like the circus in the US.
112 is the European emergency number like tabetha said but you can also ring 100 for ambulance and fire or 101 for police.
The nearest hospital in Zolder is Hasselt or Genk
Hope this helps
