Default Turbo damper (head scratcher)

Got all the bits and for the life of me can't work out how the feck it all goes together as you'll see in the pictures

Turbo damper - the bit that comes down doesn't look long enough to reach to the bracket if that were fitted

damper bracket - been told by CR turbo's it goes in place of one of the rings on the turbo

Any advice, or am i running the wrong manifold or something???

Sorry can't help, mine went on without any problems...
However (hijacking thread alert ), since installing mine I still get a little "zing" sort of noise at 3.5K or so.
I've followed installation instructions to the letter... should I give the hanger bit another turn to create more tension, or, is that normal with these dampers (had the original one before it decided to throw a wobbly and drop bits on the m-way )

The thing is the bolt behind the oil feed doesn't come out as the space isn't there.

This is what's confusing me and thats the only way i can see it goes on to work with the damper, if i use another bolt down the main hole will be too low down.

Take the turbo off, so you can rotate the housing to get at the bolts.

looks to me that the plates on your turbo have been bolted up in the wrong place....you'll need to sort that prior to fitting the replacement bracket in place mate.
