hi can any one help ive just got an mk6 escort si she been lowered 60mm and im thinking off getting some 16in mondeo alloys but dont know wot size tyres to use. 195/50/16 or 205/45/16 and i dont want them to rub. has any had this problem before.

 

i use 195x50x16 on my rs. It lowered 30mm but then a rs sits lower in the first place than an normal si escort. Previous to that i had 205x45x17 and they only rubbed on a tight lock cornering hard (i.e on track) hence why I went for 16's. If i was you i'd go the 195 route.
