dead battary

got a brand new battery and with in the week it was dead

when i put jump leads on it fine goes to 13-14v then its just dies fast,

could it be the alternator and does the alternator have a earth????

well i got a new alternator and it aint charging the battery...... so could there be a bad wire somewhere or what..... really doin my head in

More than likely a drain in the system somewhere. A live that shouldn't be live unless the car is running.

I would check alarm, stereo etc

Someone on here will have better examples

aint got an alarm or stereo in it....what amp batterys do you recommend it did have a 590amp on but its got 300amp on it now and its just sucking the life out of it
