Default Saffy speedo...

Ok so i'm trying to be gentle with the new car an not going for the usual bish bash bosh method.... blah blah blah

Does the speedo cable just pull out or screw out or what? at the back of the speedo.

Was at it for about an hour tonight in the garage before calling it a nite.

Takes a bit of a squeeze to release the plastic pins which sit in a groove on the back of the speedo mate. The plastic is usually quite hard and its designed a bit like those childproof lids where you have to squeeze in the right place. Once its off you'll wonder why it was so difficult!

As said you can feel the serated raised bits that you squeeze, just a gentle squeeze is all it takes.

damm i'm an idiot!!
Note for future: squeeze one side only. side with the biggest lug. utherwise your pushing against yourself, the harder you squeeze-the more it grips.
Shit, such a simple task
