Default What Piston Rings

Hi all

Well i got the call from my engineering shop to say that my block, crank, flywheel, pistons and head are ready for collection after having some work done on them.

The shop has got me some Heavy Duty standard size big/mains bearings, thrust washer etc but im just wondering what piston rings to go for.

I will be aiming to build a solid engine to produce a nice 220bhp on standard pistons but is there better quality rings on the market ???
I noticed that Burton do OE rings sets for £79 or NON Standard for £109.

Can someone enlighten me in what the difference is with standard/modified
piston rings and what would you recommend for the power i want to achive??
Really dont fancy shelling out £515 for Accralites

The work iv had done is as follows

Block acid dipped/cleaned
Bores fully deglazed/Honed
Top / sides refaced
Crank & Flywheel - lightened, balanced, polished & refaced
Head/pistons chemicaly cleaned

CheeRS
