Default 4X4 HEAD

Iam going to buy a 4x4 head this weekend , is there any part no's to check ?
How do you tell it apart from 2WD item if it has no rocker cover?

4x4 ones dont have a temp gauge at the front right of the head like 2WD ones do, rahter than having the sensor or a threaded hole for it it'll have just a blank face, also thing the combustion chambers are different IIRC................

also 2wd has a mounting plate for turbo damper on it 4x4 aint, u cant miss that

What is the std top to bottom measurement for the 4x4 head?

What is the most which can be skimmed off

I really need origional thickness and minimum thickness

also the oil feed for the turbo comes off the side of the head
