hi everyone

took my s2 out for a drive and noticed a slight nocking noise but only happens on acceleration . when idling you cant hear alt . any ideas . cheers

 

could be death rattle,could be tappets!can u hear it more around the 3 k mark??

 

not to sure . ill check tomoz . wot could it be if after 3k . frist i thought it was the bottem end . just hope not . thanks

 

had the same on mine.. was the death rattle.. on the way to a mates house to fit the new engine incase it was it threw the big end cap. bent valves. bent rod and fooked the crank where the rod wedged into it... do not drive the car until your sure bud... i learnt this the hard way!
