the bra on my car is from www.autobra.co.uk the bit at the back of the bra is to stop it flapping while on the move

i wouldnt personaly have one but not a bad idea for shows

 

yes it will used just for shows because.............. last year queuing to getting into silverstone some numpty dropped the clutch infront of me and made a right mess of the corner of my bonnet. Yes i know the bumper will still get chiped but the bumper doesnt rust.....

I have have tryed the masking tape route but i thought that this made be a quicker earier alternative.

auto bra also do a full bra that covers the bumper to, do people think its gay because there scared of something new why dont we all just get a set of mos and be the same as every one else

 

i know that it is to protect ur paint but if someone is soooo bothered about stone chips then surely they would have to drive around with one on all the time

and if ur worried about stone chips, dont go racing with ur mates or follow people on the motorway to shows, go slow and im sure the car would be fine without a bonnet bra! whoever thought of that name needs shot.

I think it's no problem if someone takes extra care on their car. Some find the outside not important others do. Everybody its flavour. I can see the point of a bra/masking if you want to keep your cossie nose in good nick. And keeping distance not always helps as a lot of cardrivers cut in front of you and stones get coming up from the road. It also protects against flies that becomes one with the paint..Older cars/cossies with original paint get extremly rare these days.

There is actually more paint in the store.. The Bra is uglier than 1000 stonechips anyway..

 

bras have been around for decades on the v dub scene. i dont see why its gay, the chaps just trying to have something which is easily removable and protects his paint.

i always though the two raised bits were to deflect flys away from the windscreen buy creating an air dam?
