which is better, i have loads of ps2 games i still play, but what version of ps3 will play the ps2 games?

but a lot of my friends have a 360 and play online! but can you get all games on both formats?

 

just get the ps3 60gb if you can find one.

RE on the wii doesnt at all compre to any other version of it on other consoles, the graphics on the wii are cr@p. to me a console isnt about batting invisible balls toward the screen and shooting pretend clay pidgeons...i hate button bashing games and that seems to be all you do with the Wii. i am definately gonna sell it, before i smash it!

As for the wii being no good, it's awesome with a bunch of mates, I had a whole night of playing Mario Kart and Mario olimpics on Saturday, so much fun

 

maybe thats my problem. i'm used to playing FIrst person online shooters on the PC, the Wii doesnt offer anything that can really compare to massive online multiplayer FPS...if it does, then can anyone point me in the right direction?

Try Metroid Prime 3 or Medal of Honor Heroes 2 if you like FPS. I haven't played either but I've been told they are good. I can't see them match the FPS on the PC TBH.

ps3 all the way, play ps2 games on ur ps2 or you will lose quality. The ps3 can go online and its completely free, acts as a internet point and is wifi. Get a 40g model and not a lot of people know this but u can upgrade your hard drive upto 120g by buying one seperate from maplins or any computer store for about 70 quid. Loads of space then. Plus u get free software updates and is currently the best bluray player u can get at the moment (with the latest software update free) a right machine.

 

but what version plays the ps2 games? 40, 60 or 80?

 

I have heard the Xbox graphics are better on GTA4 due to the programers being more familler with the programing interface.. dont know how true that is though...

I would go PS3 if you need to play your old PS2 games. Xbox is a great value console now though and has soooo many games availble compared to the ps3 at the moment, long term though i think PS3 will be the console to have what with blue ray built in also!

You can't play PS2 games on a 40GB model.

The 80GB model has full PS2 support but the 60GB only has partial support.

 

The Rip-off 40gb PS3 has no backward compatability at all!

Hence me buying an Xbox 360 Elite with 120Gb Harddrive! LOVE the gameplay on it too, Forza 2 is fucking awesome!

Can't wait to get hold of GTA4 on the Xbox, that's my bank holiday sorted this year!

 

i have a ps3 for sale with COD4, Rainbow Vegas, Pro Street Racing, blueray movie - Die Hard 4 and a wireless controller. offers around 325 quid. it has only been used about 5 times and still has the box etc

 

I got my ps3 and its in teh living room as thats where teh HD is, if i play it in my room little 21" tv no HD will it be absoloutly shite, i cant be bothered to un plug and check so what you reckon guys???

 

It will just seem like hardly any different from play a normal XBOX or a PS2
