Cant agree with that, these cars are not at the forefront of performance anymore & should be treated with respect. It ran a 13 for God sake not a high 10. I like JB but his car hardly sets any new standards, you lads seem to mistake a car not set up for quarters with a fast one.

 

Each to their own I suppose.

Kind of agree with Rod TBH, although (like Rod) I like JB a lot and get on with him well.
How can you run a 500bhp car hard and not get under 13 seconds?

The main thing that JB's car shows really is there isnt any point (from a performance point of view on the quarter mile) in having lots of power if you have fucking shite suspension

 

The question I always get asked is when am I doing a 1/4 mile or whats the 0-60, people always look at me funny when I say there is no point.

I know if I went up the pod I would end up in the same boat as Jb.....one diff down

 

Euan you need to try it atleast once just to see what times it will do, at worst whats it going to cost Ł100 for a second hand diff. Wait till you have done your topspeed runs then give it a go either way it will go on the trailer at the end of the day. That or i will lend you my gripper diff for the next thrash .

Anyhow, sagging bodywork and such will always let you down, thats why I hate norwegian drifting, they drive hard, but half of the car is spread around the track making them look shitty..
