Does anyone know if you can load Microsoft Office XP Professional onto Windows Vista and will it work?

 

You mean "can I wipe my Vista machine and reinstall with XP instead?" ??

Sure, but first make sure the manufacturer of the machine (particularly if a laptop) provides XP drivers for all the hardware on their website.

 

Nope - keep Vista and put on Office XP Professional for Word, Excel etc

Just done a search and according to Microsoft it will run and they have extended support to XP Office Pro until 2011.

yes you can my DM at work has both 2007 and 2003 on his machine. No idea why both though
