mk5 and 6 whats the difference on front legs

mk5 and 6 whats the difference on front legs
is the mk 5 rs2000 front shocks and springs the same as a mk6 escort at all
as i have a mk6 van which im thinking of putting some mk5 front lowering springs on which i have

The strut top is different, mk5 has two holes whereas the 6 has three, i'm not sure on the spring cup i would imagine its the same but... the i4 engine is a heavy lump, you don't say what the van engine is but the spring rate could be all wrong

hmm.. i'm not gonna say they will defo fit but i spose its worth a try its not that long a job to change the springs alone you'll just have to see what the ride height turns out like, diesel lumps are quite heavy in relation aswell.
