My front drivers side Billy has developed an annoying knocking sound, so wheres the best place to get it Refurbed? thx Jon

I don't have any dealings with Bilstein, but their refurbishment place is in Northampton I "think" .

Just go buy a new damper from our kid jon, at G S Motorsport he has em in stock lol, but they might be on his or mine by now.
He has my saff in now to prep for the ring in 3wks.

I just bought 4 X bilstein, 4 X eibach for me other halfs astra, was only £300, which I think is good.

Is it a worn bronze guide bush (internal knock) or external hardware knock ?

Is there any lateral play in the damper when inside the tube ?

Basically if i grab the main body of the coilover, i can slightly wobble the part that goes upto the top mount(but the top mount is solid) hope this lame explanation helps

Sounds like worn bronze guides in the strut tube if your getting lateral movement
