i driv my car hard not so long go, an the next day it started runnin like a bag of shit, like it was on 3 cylinders, so i did compression test an there was none in no.3, so i took the engine out an checked pistons they was ok, so changed the stage 3 head for another one off a fiesta using a conversion plate so it runs on mfi still, now engine is fitted an everythin else, wen i try start the car it wont start, i hav good sparks/changed plugs /changed leads/ timed it/ got petrol enterin meterin unit an leaving it an goin 2 injectors, any ideas?

 

Are you sure you have the timing right on the cam and the dizzy??

 

yh timin has been checked twice, just wont fire up

 

wen the injectors was off, i got my gf to turn it over whilst i pressed dwn the meterin flap, petrol came out but didnt spray out wiv any pressure, do u fink i have a fuel pressure problem?

 

ive got the same problem with my car mate if you sort it let me no cheers

Have you checked that all the pipes are done up tight (boost pipes could be an air leak) and there not split anywhere. Are all the earths connected and have you got a GOOD strong battery on there??

 

yh i took filter off, an got sum 1 to turn it ova while i watched the meterin flap bob up an down, so no air leaks there, i will recheck my earths tomorrow, also i towed it round the block a few times 2day and wen i bump it in 2cd gear it sounds like its runnin on 2 cylinders wiv foot on accelerator, soon as i take foot off acelarator its dead
