i got a citroen relay no turbo 1.9 and the thing is blowing a lot off black smoke out what is coursing this can anything be done about it

 

probably a stuffed injector - haynes manual says go through each injector in turn, wrap a rag around it to catch fuel and slacken the pipe union, retighten and move to the next till you find the one that's causing smoke!

Could also be fooked air mass meter but it would also be down on power

its a old skool motor dont think its got a air mass meter and its that slow never know if it was down on power lol
