Probably would right now! Your car is going to be a minter Gav I think you NEEEEED a tank like that mate. Give Wayne a bell...

Sierra is going to be tidied up like yours though and is going to look very very very nice for next year!

Next step is ripping the dash out and re-doing all that and rewiring all the fuses to the centre console..

Its all going to look

With these types of tanks with the foam do you still need to run a swirl pot to stop the surge issues?

I was going to run 2 Holley pumps as lift pumps feeding a swirl pot with 2 GrpA pumps feeding to the engine.

With this tank how will it run, can i run it in the same way?

Even the std underslung Sierra Tank with its baffles in , suffers from fuel surge under heavy cornering , not what you need as the engine momentarily runs out of fuel and goes lean . So if you go above the std position and force feed the fuel system then you will need a swirl pot big enough to remove surge in ALL conditions , this principal applies to any fuel system and any situation especially as a " Belt and Braces " factor.
Whether the tanks Foam Filled or not , makes little difference to this , my tank has a 2 1/2 litre Gated collector in the tank , but i fitted a Swirl pot just in case !
regards
Tony

Yes Tonys right! I always used to run a seperate little tank on the Sierra and ProAlloy are making a 2gallon Accumulator for this one as well. It sits below and is gravity fed. This is a mock up of how it will look Gav.

All the gump on the right is the old set up and will be going. The new install should look very tidy. Gav just copy this mate. No lift pumps needed and I'm using just ONE Fuel pump! much better

Gav Diamond,
the foam will almost certainly eliminate the surge in the tank- however, we will run a smaller collector/swirl pot underneath the tank just to be 100% sure.

Okay - that's very tasty.

Am now considering selling mine as it's a rally one, and heavily biased to one side of the car, to allow the spare to sit in the boot too.

Wayne - can you PM me a price - how much am I looking at for a saff to fit in here:

Very impressed!

Wayne - nice one mate!

You may remember me as Rich who used to work at SCC.

Stuart Laird said you'd end up doing these race tanks, and that the quality would be good - and he wasn't wrong!
