Default Bearing on top of the Shocks!

What does it do on the front shocks??? Go this cause my wooble and clunck sound when i go over a bump?? Think im going to change the top bush and this bearing as that MIGHT solve it?

Definitely get them checked out, as I had to replace both on my escort cos they were knackered - all cracked and letting the strut move around, also the metal cup underneath it can become badly worn if you have this problem!!

cool mate, right i will change them any way as its Ł10 for the bearing and bush! fook all really, and see if that solves my prob

So how hard is it to drop the front shock?

what's the bush bit?

i replaced mine with poly items, but one aint seating 100%... need to get round to sorting that... tis only a 10min job, but i cannae be arsed to do it

easy job rhys took me about 1hr to do the front and that included building up the coilovers with the new bearings and putting in the ploybush top mount. You really need them as they aid steering. Mine were fooked and used to knock like fook. Steering feel is so much better with the new ones

Cool so that might eb causeing my probs Once had some dinner going to jack the car up and start striping it down, Then pop to Ford for 3ish as thats when the bush etc are being deliverd
