Default RP LAB L8

Has any one got one of these, or set one up. Are they easy to understand and make your way through to get a good result, are they equal to another stand alone ecu eg autronic

in that case chip probably won't bother mentioning the fact he has one for sale for the 871st time
to answer your question the sm4 autronics is better that the l8 purely becuase one is new and the other is an antique and has valves in it lol

brilliant software - very easy to use and intuitive and you are starting from an ecu with factory reliability (which is not affected by the modifications by RP Lab as that is just similar to putting in a different babyboard and does not affect the main 'motherboard' / drivers / other hardware etc.

you can get als, launch control, distributorless etc, etc, and still have all of the factory settings (also user configurable) for cold start, transient response etc that you usually don't get with aftermarket ecu's. the price will be good to you if you go direct from australia as well.

Are you looking to buy one? If so I MAY know of one

Quite a good ECU I reckon, one of the better user interfaces going, and genuinely does just plug straight in on the standard loom with no dramas.
