can anyone tell me which terninals you bridge to see if your fan switch is broke as there is 4 and my fans are not kicking in?

tried to connect the live to the neg when un plugged to crate circuit heard a relay clicking but no fans. what should i try now?

ive had a similar problem , fans were jammed on , changed fan switch , now they never come on , but if i bridge multi plug with loop of wire , i can get the low speed and high speed fans to come on . i just gave up trying to sort it .

 

have you tested the relay to make sure you are getting at least 12 volts on the fan circuit

 

the 4 wires that go to the switch, if you connect the 2 blacks together and the 2 black with blue stripes together, then the 2 new pairs together (effectively shorting all 4 together) the fans should come onto hight speed, if not, possibly the large unsidedown green relay that clips onto the side of plastic partition next to the battery , the relay is about 35 quid IIRC...

 

what do i do to test the relay as i can hear that clicking but no fans? Hard wired them today and worked fine.
