Default RWD nova - Its a beast

Taken from Roybacer.net

Aright Lads and Lasses

Its been time since i've posted here, but wanted to sling a few pics up of my now Mot'd RWD nova.

Its taken about 10months of sweat, blood, tears and 7 stitches the my knee, when I caught it with the angle grinder....but its all good.

Anyways, heres a few pics taken a couple of weeks ago now, so you'll notice the odd thing or two to be done., I'll try and get more soon....... enjoy......

it does still need a bit of work to iron out a few problems, like a sticky tappet, the timing, tracking, and a few other odds and sods.

I did run my welded diff in there, but due to my home made prop being well out of balance (oops), all the oil drained out the axle as all the bolts came loose. Result was a fucked diff. So I got a decent prop made up last week and slapped a standard 4.1 diff in there. LSD's cost ££, so I'll have to wait a bit for that.

...but with the welded diff in there the sideways action was simply crazy
now it just spins the insise wheel

Truly awesome IMHO

It was at our local old school meet this week, was a very impressive car and got a fair bit of attention, albeit the wrong type of car for the night!

10/10 for the owner/builder... looks like it could well be fun!

Looks good mate, fooking well done!

however, nova spells avon backwards.

This may seem irelevant, but now, you have to sell bath salts and moisturiser to old dears that don't get out much.

Saw this at an Old Skool meet at Dorking train station the other night.

As much as I hate Novas, even I had to admit that it'd be proper good fun.
Imagine getting alongside a fellow chav in a nova at the lights then launching the fooker sidways up the road
