From Christian

All I did with my old T28 was to get the manifold re-studded. Wasn't hard. I just put it into an engineer who left the old studs in, but cut them off flush and planed over the surface before tapping it for the new spacing. The new studs overlap the old ones slightly, but this isn't a problem. I think I paid £30-40 for that to be done.

Either way its still a cheap mod to gain good turbo

There are a wide range of them available cheaply, and they spool a little quicker than cossie t3 replacements peopel use.

Ideal turbo for 250ish bhp really.
(well depending on exactly which model of T28)

Comparing two different turbos on totally different setups, nice and scientific then.

Browns quicker than red by the way, cause my mates brown nova 2.0 is quicker than my other mates red nova 1.6, so I cant work out why ferraris arent painted brown cause its CLEARLY the quicker colour.

there was no difference on andy r's car.his with same set up a mine, same compression ratio, same head, same cam, same turbo, yet his had the ava manifold and was on full boost 2000rpm quicker than mine,so rules manifold out

chip, good example but read above, mine and andys car was near identical at one point,he made 228@wheels i made 214@wheels,only diff his havin manifold, you sayin if he added the t28 on his car without any other changes then could be on boost earlier and full boost quicker than 2800rpm

if so then why does davies not come on boost quicker or hit full boost earlier???
as davies is similar spec bar the turbo

and everyone knows imperial blue is quicker
