Default Fiesta XR2i 1.6CVH exaust and suspention

I am building a Fiesta XR2i 1.6CVH as a cheap track toy.

The things i cant figure out is the exaust. i bought the car with crappy exaust. so i tried to make something new from scratch by using 2" pipes and 2 Silencers.
But it Sounds CRAP and knocks innto the carbody.

So the only sulution is to get a new compleete exaust. like the Ashley http://www.fiesta-centre.co.uk/fiest...lpipe-17-p.asp
and the http://www.fiesta-centre.co.uk/fiest...-1992-26-p.asp

BUT.. will this be all needed to replace the cat? because all that was original fron under the crossmember is cut in peaces?

and can somebudy give a ca DB level on this exaust...

And also thinking aboud G-Max suspension.. but is it Crap? or god?

Sorry for bad english. from norway

Forget the ashley. Fucking loud and gives less power than a Scorpion or a Mongoose.

Buy yourself a stainless manifold and a stainless system. Will give you much more than 100 dB. Think you want to use it on an race track and have limitations for the dB?

Then just weld in another silencer

My setup:

CSC Grp.A manifold (from ebay, no longer available iirc)
Scorpion stainless exhaust

The old one was an ashley manifold. Broke three times

mainly standard ones. But that will limit the power output...
