Default hose with no home :(

Hello all

Whilst doing some work recently in the front passenger arch i noticed a hose with no home, the end of it doesnt go anywhere, can any of you clever lads help me please?

It the hose that the highest one in position in this picture here, not the 2 that go to whatever that is in the arch but the one that looks like it comes from the bulkhead area from right to left along the blackened area.

it definitely doesnt go to washer bottle of that im sure, but must go somewhere????

Thanks
Mart

PS going to put this on escortRScosworth.com now too for those that freqeuent both sites

the container in the arch is some kind of carbon filter that takes care of the fumes in your fuel tank.

som the hose will have to go to a valve located in the left side of your engine bay or it goes to the fuel tank. The connection on the fuel tank is located on the top of the tank far left and goes to a filter in the rear right arch behind the filling pipe. Next i goes along the underside of the car in a pipe together with the fuel and brake lines where after in goes to the container in the right front arch (LHD car).

Now i got a quistion for the smart guys. Will there be any problems if you unmount this system and just plug the hose on the fuel tank off?????????????

sorry for gramma and so on.
