brake pads for cossies
Whichever ones YOU prefer, as a very personal thing.
From my own experience, these are MY views.
Mintex 1144/1155, very good, need warming up first, but soft and very dusty, lot of effort needed(comparitively), little feel.
EBC Redstuff Ceramic, awsome work from cold but a bit dusty, ace feel
EBC Yellowstuff, awsome not quite as good from cold but still perfectly acceptable/useable, fade resistance better than any others.
I have also used Ferrodo DS 2000/2500, and desopite getting these for free, buy EBC's pads, as ferrodo had NO feel, or performance, little use for anything other than a bicycle.

Early days I ran with Mintex 1144 pads with Black Diamond grooved and drilled disks. Great set up for road use, not ideal for pulling up from 185.5 mph, but did the job just about, ask Mark Shead!!

Just to confuse things a bit :P - Personally i hate 1144/1155's I found them to be worse than standard Ford pads! I'd recommend Ferodo DS2500 - always use them and I've never had bother with them. They work from cold and take a good bit of abuse too.

Find it very strange what tabetha says about the ferodos.
I have had a few sets of ds2500's and wouldnt change them.
I could prob name about 5 of my close friends that run them or the 3000's on their AP's and feel the same as I do.

I mostly hated the total dead feel of the DS range, but find the EBC very communicative in this respect, as I said each to thier own and all that, I can actually get FERRODO free from a friend, but BUY, EBC instead.

I use yellowstuff for racing and got a bit of fade with very harsh use but mostly they seem good. I have some redstuff spare that I'll try soon. I also took the plates off the back. I didn't see the point of them.

I agree with tabetha on the ebc red stuff pads, Good feel and work well with black diamond discs.
The other day my hand brake had frozen on so pulled cables about till car moved freely, prob was when i braked after that it stuck back on a bit and realy slowed the car down.
Got std discs and red stuff pads back and they were smoking by time i could stop, had this before with std pads and it not slow the car half as good, evan though stuck brake is bad lol
