ive got a escort mk3 se cabriolet. Im putting my frst engine in which runs on ofab. I wanted to make the conversion look factory so decided to fit the mk4 efi escort loom. I found a website called www.rsbible.co.uk. It tells me quite alot about the conversion but have came across a couple of issues that is not explained and i tried to contact the person who wrote the info but cant get a reply. It says about a couple of pin changes to run ofab,which is easy enough to understand,but i was wondering if there is a certain way to remove the pins without breaking them??? also as im going to run ofab,i will have to fit the supressor....BUT WHERE DOES IT GO as i cant work out where it should fit........finally how do i go around fitting the map sensor? does anyone know or if anyone else has done this conversion???

 

done this a few weeks bak myself and had the very same questions as that same site was unclear.firstly reguarding the pin changes .on the main ecu plug ul see a red tab in the plug prise this out with a smalll screwdriver then look down at the pin u need to remove and prise bak a small tab and gently pull the pin out from the bak and move to the rite spot then push back in the red tab.nex for the map and suppressor il check tomoro what way i wired this as i cant remember at the min
