oil cooler leaking

hi guys i have noticed that i have a consistent oil leak from my oil cooler where it meets the block is this a machined surface or does it require a gasket or sealer help much appreciated

They have a oil seal as std if modine type.

these are the parts required for a 4x4 set up but the block to oil cooler seal should be the same for the 2wd
