HI
will a 2WD saph turbo heatshield fit an escort cosworth and if so what brackets will i need to fit
i currently have a standard heatshield on and i have had a stainless one on but both of them have been touching the strut brace and i think a 2wd saph one may do the job but dont want to buy one if its not going to fit
thank graham

Graham, if I get chance over the weekend I will whip off my escos heatshield and try the saff one on.
It will only give you an indication though as its not completely in tact after Donington the bottoms been burnt, but should be good enough to tell.
Will try and take some piccies too

I am having all the chrome tanks and rocker cover coated in black crackle as it was all to bling for me and i am having the strut brace painted in gunmetal grey and changing all the hoses to black roose ones
i have a vision in my head and i hope it turns out looking good just undesided on what to do regarding heatshield as the ones i have had fitted just touch the strutbrace so i was thinking a standard 2wd saph one may be an option if i could get it to fit

not the best pictures but I think you need to cut the front of the heatshield down and put on a new side mounting bracket on, as the front fools the intercooler and airbox pipes
there is an existing screw in the bulkhead that looks like the rear mounting bracket would fit to

not the best condition of heatshield to try though
