im not 100% but if i remember, Dog engagement gearboxes require very positive gear changes
Dog boxes are generally designed for competition use because they provide for clutchless gear changes.

Someone who has more idea will help you, but thought i should add something positive as i took the piss

what is it the standard "h" type pattern but clutchless so u can left foot brake hole way round once youve pulled away?

basically work better when raging the shit out of your car and giving your box abuse..

Can be used with or without clutch...and ment to be shite for traffic or town driving?

you can have h pattern or sequential
dog boxes are really for on the track not ideal for on road
the higher the revs the easier the change just dont get it wrong or its an arm or a leg lol
