Default Fitting my exhaust help

as you see no brackets..just 3 bolts onto turbo...so i would guess that just one support will be enuff close to the end bolted to floor...now without welding what kinda clamp setup could i use?

i think you may need more than one support.. i wlded a hook on to the chassis and the exhasut and then used a strip of rubbe as a damper..which reduced all the movemnt and supports it.

best to weld but if not could you use one of those hanger brackets they used to use on minies to mount them at the back, kind of a u clamp with angled bracket coming off

LOL Noooooo I workED for a company testin, developiong and introducing new sub-assembled welded parts....my main remit was to introduce the new Jag XF model ranges into production....pre-production parts and parts that come from prototype tools cannot be put on a Jag (used for development) so they get thrown away.......or make their way into my garage spares box

I have lots of bits LOL...my leaving present was 10 Landrover Defender wheelbox blanks made out of some exotic alloy going to use them to blank off all of the pannel gaps when I stip my car
