Default Where to buy standard trailing arm bushes for a saff?

my rear beam and traling arms are all off at the coaters. i have poly bushes for the beam. I've been recommended to use standard trailing arm bushes.

Start hunting then! I thought only two had been discontinued, as one resourcefal chap sourced to similar ones from Aston Martin and had them turned down to fit his Sierra .

How bad are your outer ones? Surely given the company your work for, you have sufficient engineering contacts to be able to have some made?

For the petro-chemical industry - so you should have companies that you deal with that could do this .

i remember looking into this with my saff.....it drove awful on polybushes so i priced up the full set of standard bushes, and tbh it was about £300...so i just added a bit more and got a rose jointed beam lol.

EDIT: because i'm a god i found my original thread, with part numbers and prices

To just look at the standard bushes you'd think they were just that, bushes becuase the outer seals look just like bonded rubber. Its the wieght of them that give away they are a little bit speical internaly.

I must be lucky as I bought a new outer joint from Ford around 18mnth ago...didnt realise they were now obsolete

Glad I noticed this post! I have a brand new rear arm but it doesn't come with bushes in it, so 'll have to get them sorted out from somewhere other than Ford then.
