It gripped towards the end of the run when I wa sin the car but my run was without NOS.

Those drag radials seem to be strugling Si.

 

stickier tyres maybe? if thats possible..lol

 

He was running some kinda BF Goodrich drag radial...not sure what type tho?

I think the main problem is the strip at Crail you could actually see Si's car bouncing up and down pretty much all the way up the quarter

 

Looked crazy on sunday Si wouldnt mind a run up the strip next time your there if you dont mind.

Wullie realy needs to spend some cash on the strip, must of made hundreds of thousands out of it over the years and spent nuthing back.

 

His excuse which might actually be true is that it is listed as a historic site due to being a war airstrip so is not allowed to do it. A nice excuse but may well be true.? anyone?

Amazing car, one of the best, I seen this at TOTB.

 

Must just be because the scottish people that have been to crail know how bad the strip is , so know how impressive Si's car is to run those times and more so the terminals.
Crazy when you think the times guys like Kev Sharp, Charlie shaw and the CRD Supra run but realy need 4x4 at crail to get the power down.

Checked my V-Box stats from the day.
Best 0-60 was 5.6 sec
Best 0-100 was 10.2 sec


6 runs with no passenger were between 13.1 and 13.5
2 runs with passengers were 13.7 (rapidcosie) and 13.9(Andy_R)

The problem with the 6 speed box is I have to change through 5 gears per run.

But very pleased with the day.

Totally,the strip is an absolute joke! Bumpy and uneven don't even begin to describe it!
And for the money that is taken in up there he really should do something about it!

Well seeing as Crail is in Scotland i would expect most of the answers to be from Scottish people!
Take a run up to Crail the next time mate and you will see exactly what people are talking about though!

Yeah I know its in Scotland, But its also a very tasty car, So would be nice to think more people commented rather than just the scots!

Wasn't trying to be cheeky when i said it's in scotland mate but just that probably everyone there on Sunday was Scottish,well apart from Nick and James from PF so the responses are largely going to be from us.
