Default Where to sit at Silverstone

Anyone know where the best place is to sit (in one of the stands) at silverstone? Tracey's treating me for my birthday but I dont know what the best seats would be

depends on your budget, but abbey was good last year, or club both feel close to the action, though when i went to see the touring cars i sat in the grandstand at luffield and that was awesome, bit further away, but because you are higher up you can see really well and its sort of an optical illusion.

shes getting a good bonus so budget is "within reason" - not talking £500 each but £200-£300 is ok.

cant find where to book a seat on silverstone website

Apparently there is a set of seats that overlook a number of corners - I think it is abbey as mentioned above.

This is of course assuming that you dont find some free pit lane seats!

would be nice, but i doubt it. Just found a price for pit lane passes - at £2055 she can afford to send me, but i think thats taking the piss as she wants to go too
