does any one know if the xr3i plenum will work on a rs turbo engine?? thanks

 

Can be done, think something needs to be changed when fitting it though but im not sure =/ maybe just pipework but i have seen it done a few times before.

 

it wont fit straight on as its efi, but will work either change the head or adaptor plates to convert

 

sure, why not? There were several threads the last few weeks. There was a KE-Jet XR3i with cat which had a throttle body with tps or you mod the inlet to use the RST throttle (there was an adaptor plate available @ Ford) OR you use a RSi inlet, the Turbo throttle body bolts straight on

thanks will have to try make the rs throttle fit as the 3i plenum i have, it wont fit straight on!

 

It will fit better than EFI. Both, XR3i and RSTurbo were MFI (he said that he wanted to use the XR3i MFI inlet) engines, so he just needs a throttle body with the correct tps and some new pipework...
