hi,just wondering if anyones had this problem and can advise me,got a fiesta rs,done a headgasket,water pump,cambelt,fan switch,thermostat etc etc all runs mint but yesterday the 30a fuse for the fan(second in from the top left),every time the fan kicked in the circuit got so hot the green cover kept completely melting off the fuse in under 1 minute,went through 5 fuses just to get me home.ive had a new fan switch,the fan looks ok in terms of it works and when off spins by hand with minamel resistance.also the fan apperantly runs through the front foglight relay which i changed and they work when the fans on,just the relay cant be pushed in all the way to the fuse box or that circuit cuts out.why is this circuit getting so hot and not popping the actual fuse,help help!!!

 

basically the fogs dont work etc ,but if you pull it outabout 1-2 mm everything works but still melts the plastic?
