come on mods play fair and explain why there is one rule for one and another rule for some one else its hardly fair then because you don't want others knowing that you are unfair and you have no consistency in your moderating you move or delete previous posts you ban some people for relative small rule braking and other people seriously abuse the rules and there there day after day i mean what a joke you all are there are some people posting on this site after receiving multiple life time bans whats all that about

this isn't a democracy, the people at the top make the rules and if you don't like it then you don't like it

i do however understand that someone is pissed about getting banned and, with the recent upheavals in the site admin, that certain aspects may need addressing, but by registering again and again it's not really helping matters

 

As Dojj says if you have power you can do whatever there are no rules it aint law on a BB...and as you aint a paying member you ahve no say TBH

 

there is something to discuss because as soon as they ban you you cannot contact any one so you have to get another user name i admit rules are rules but if the moderators are not going to stick to them then neither am i

but you may want to reword it to say that if the moderators can't stick ot the rules than you shouldn't either

I'm not sure why I'm banned I've had conflicting explanations one says abusing forum members another says abusing moderators but if a moderator would check my posts from the time i was banned even 2 week previous they would see its an unjust life time ban i contacted most the moderators on my brothers account only for that account to be banned saying it was a duplicate account of my previous one its a great comfort to no i can rely on you for advise Phil

bump id like to thank Martyn for PMing me yesterday to see what the problem was but the account he contacted me on was banned so i don't no if he received my reply but thanks for taking the time

 

why dont you just say who you are it might help your cause instead of hiding..i only knew one other person to do that and he is on my ignore list!!!

 

Phil your a tower of strength in my time of need any moderator that contacts me gets given my user name as they are really the only ones that can help and Martyn has my user name all i want is a moderator to look at my posts with in a week or two of my banning and show my post and comment i made which they feel and agree deserves a life time ban as you are aware Phil when you get banned its very hard to get in contact with any moderator all you get is you were banned for this the ban stays but they don't actually tell you what you posted to receive the ban so they have no idea if the ban was a fair or not it is quite easily for me to just get another user name as i have demonstrated but its the principle of it all

 

have you thought of just sending a mod a PM? it could save a lot of time.

 

...i have no trouble contacting mods..i have phone numbers and addresses but to get a lifetime ban you must have been either homophobic/rascist or the hacker!

 

Phil I've done none of them 3 also i have previously contacted the majority of the moderators to which i got 1 reply of no help I've also contacted admin which got no reply there was a sticky post in general discussion by jay about rules saying if you argue or basically misbehave you will be warned and posts deleted none of that happened to me that's why my ban come as a complete shock because i hadn't posted any thing for days that's why i want a moderator to show me what I've posted to get the ban


also who ever keeps banning me is wasting there time i have access to a large number of disposable email address so i could potentially have up to 500 user names on her at any one time you would be better off contacting me and showing the date of my ban and the corresponding comment i made that justifies the ban with in a certain time frame with the date of my ban if you do that that would be the end of it

dojj I'm currently on an unjust life time ban so i will be waiting a long time for that user name to come back but now most of the moderators have my origanal user name we will wait to see what the out come is if they prove to me by showing me the posts with the offending comments relative within a few weeks of the date that i was banned i will accept it but i no they wont because i didn't post any thing to justifying a lifetime ban my ban come as a shock to me I'll post no further and await the out come

how does slagging off or being presonal to a Mod constitute in a short time or lifetime ban when other folk in here seem to slag of certain members and get away scott free? Is it really one rule for others and another for the Mods in this place??

Why should moderators who do this job for free to make your life better, get slagged off for it?

And if people are being slagged off and arent happy, have they actually bothered to complain and had nothing done or are you their spokesman?

 

thanks rob nail and head spring to mind also jay this is proving the point of a moderator lying i haven't received any warnings never mind several nor from different moderators but your more than welcome to post the messages sent to me warning me and make me look a cunt but i no you wont do that because they don't exists also the post your referring to was about a month before the banning so how does that tie in with the banning i realised after that post that there was no point in keep posting about it because it wasn't worth it in total over about a year there may have been 2 or 3 comments then after posting nothing a month later banned i appreciate the moderators contributing to the topic but if you actually look at the facts it may become clear that the ban isnt deserved especially not lifetime ban

it's been discussed many times before and it's up to the mods descretion if they let everyone know why they have banned anyone and the reasons why

you have asked the question and there has been a responce, if you are waiting for an answer you think justifies your banning then you might be waiting a long time as their story tends to contradict what you say

it's difficult for someone who doesn't know the reasons behind the banning to comment so unless you have a full account and are willing/allowed to post up your side of the story (assuming you will be able to get it posted in the pf problems and policies section) and then there is a subsequent full and detailed response it's going to be difficult for anyone else to make up their minds

Dojj chip this guy thinks he can slate mods for banning other users in the this case jano for costant breaking the trader rules, so this typical groupee thinks its cool to keep on at pete calling him everything then when the site gets hacked as u know all the ban list was emptied out ,so i and a couple other mods went about putting bans back in place i was the one that put janos ban back up then this user decideds to complain that me and pete were in cahoots (bearing in mind this user had already served 2 bans for slating members of the mod team)and hated jano that much that it was a massive comspiracy theory ect ect ect so any way he carried on on and on with the remarks so obviously wasnt going to stop so it was decided to life him as dojj says its our discretion .

So that it really so he can keep registering atm but hopefully not for long and if he thinks hes coming back then he needs toi think again because if he wants to waste his life keep joining to a site which hes not welcome any more he will be banned as soon as

jay can you please stop lying you are making your self look foolish i haven't served 2 bans it was 1.i was banned before the site got hacked and you say keep on at pete id say it was probably 3 or 4 replies to a post in about 2 years and as you put it you and pete obviously are in cahoots because you are coming out with all these lies and you say i carried on and on and on please show all these comments i made as you say i carried on and on and on it should be easy to make a compilation of my best bits but as we both no you wont because you are lying again. all it would take is a honest moderator to look at all my posts to see jay is lying about everything. i think its a poor state of affairs when a moderator finds the need to lie in such a blatant manner. jay you should have your moderator stats remover you are a disgrace and give the rest of the moderators a bad name i also like your attempt to silence me by banning my ip address oh well guess it never worked
