Saff Cosworth Problem.......... Mice!
Last winter i posted about getting mice in the car while it was stood up over winter.
This winter the car has had 2 traps in it, even though i thought id found out where they were getting in (missing wiring gromet)
Well the problem is still here, infact worse than last year, mouse count is up to 6 so far.
Any sugestions to where the fooookers keep getting in?

Mate an adult rat can fit through a hole the size of a 50p, so stoping a mouse is near impossible. no car is (hole) air tight, or you wouldnt be able to close the door due to air pressure inside.
only advise is store the car somewhere else, or is thats not possible bait around and under the car.
probably best to use traps as well, cos weve used poison which works but they crawl in the car and die in there, not nice!!!!
we have chickens and live in fields so rats and mice are an everyday thing, ive even found a mouse in side a light switch, and with the 2.5mm wire the hole must have been half the size of a 5p!!!!

Thats what my mum said

Its not the mice shit that bothers me to much, its the fact that they have eaten part of the front seat
Car will be stored in side as soon as i pull my finger out an move workshops.
Just strange how they prefer the Saff as they have never been in my Series 1, even though they are kept side by side.

The worst thing is when the fricken mice eat through the wiring loom and ive seen it happen causing all sorts of problems.... Best one was me cousin opened his bonnet on the cossy & seen this big fck off RAT on the rocker cover lol. I missed it but must have been amusing at first as he just slammed the bonnet in shock thinking what to do after a few moments lol...
Do soming about it before it becomes a major problem for you
Best of luck

You could leave a trail of cheese to the cornflakes in Porkie's office...
The S1 is stripped out though isn't it so probably not as warm! You've answered the question yourself anyway; pull your finger out in moving units then store it inside. Mind you they'll probably still get in it...
