071 are a good plug for any state of tune, but there are better, but dearer plugs.
Up to stage1 I would use AGPR12PP8, or the denso equivalent(from ford).
Above that for stage 3 I use IK31's.

what do you gap 071's to on stage 3, i have ik27's at the moment but have developed a bit of a misfire on boost, so thought these would be a cheap option to test if it the plugs

I use champion QC57C on any cossie running high boost. Theyre a very cold plug so the idle is a little lumpy for the first minute due to plug fouling, but after the engines warmed up theyre great. I think they seem to reduce misfires on boost as well.
Best 30 quid i ever spent on my own cossie...

Can anyone tell me the full part number or model number for 071's as I have been to a Ford dealer over this side of "the pond" and they are looking blank at me as if I am on something.

....u'd be better off ringing NMS and finding out what he set the plugs at and checking the gap on the ones u've got.....iridiums last a long time so they might just need gapping again.................mine are gapped at .75mm
