Bloke I worked with at foundry did that every day for months, 06:00-22:00, and some saturdays.
Dead now, funnily enough.

the time doesnt bother me to be honest, but lifting such things as thick metal cabinets about 3times the size of me up 10-20 flights of stairs...

and loading a 17.5 lorry full twice and then emptying them (large office computer desks etc)

im not looking for a medal at at!! im just saying that its quite long for what ive got to do imo..

its a shift and 6 hours over time so should be picking up abit which is the main thing

4 hours will be traveling as im in bristol..and then about 1.30 hour of breaks so should be ok...

When i was at school, i used to run 4 miles home at 15:20, get home about half hour later, throw my school bag down, grab the catalouges, go running around the estate delivering them, run back to collect the goods that were dropped off, then run round delivering them to last weeks customers, get home for about 18:00, get changed ready to catch the bus into town at 18:10 to get into work for 18:30, then worked until we finished which was around 2:00-3:00 in the morning, home for 2:30-3:30, straight to bed, then up for school at 7:00.

I did this for a good few years non-stop, all so i could afford to pay for my first car outright.

I thought that would be it once i got my car, and thought i could chill out a bit.

It was then that i realised how much it actually cost to run a car, so continued like it did for antoher couple of years whislt i did my A-levels.

Then, i started buying the car mags looking at all the modded cars, so ended up carrying on working non-stop to pay for the bits and pieces i wanted.

THE VISCOUS CYCLE AT ITS BEST/WORST!!!!

I like this new 30 minute break for 6 hours work, and having to have 15 min break before 30 min, really fucks me up if I have a non driver.
Why the fuck your breaks have to be in that order, what a load of nonsense.

I know this 48 hour thing gets averaged over year, more or less.
That 13 hour in is it?
Have to bear that in mind, may come in handy.
So what if you break down, and can get to within an hour from base?
Sheds I drive always breaking down.

I know the rules aswell, even in my job we have to stick to them when driving in the UK.

A know what your saying. A was told before a started my job that a may need to do some long hours as we do concrete floors start to finish now and then. Normally a good laugh at night hearing the jokes and war wound stories

9 hours standard rate, time and a half till finish, if after 2am off next day paid
Pays for the toys

But when there no concrete its standard week for me and never work weekends
