ive got koni adjustables all round on my rs turbo atm and was thinking about putting coil overs on it and then was told by sum one the best thing i could do was leave the konis on the back and put coil overs on the front... any one have a prefered set up or know the best way? its a series 2 btw...
Never heard that one to be honest.
Then there is the other side that some people will prefer one thing and other people will prefer another. It will depend on what you want your car to drive like as lots of factors can change the cars behaviour like spring and damping rates.

As said depends what YOU want from it, with coilovers you have adjustability in height, as well as cheaper spring changes should you not like them.
I have AVO coilovers on my sapph, and you can change the spring without even taking the strut off!!

The only reason that people recommend keeping normal suspension on the back (why anyone would want to run a setup like that
) is because if you run coil-overs then all the kinetic energy is being centralised on the rear shock absorber top mounting point in the boot. Over time, this mounting plate stresses and eventually cracks then breaks away from the body.
If you are prepared to reinforce this section, then there is no viable reason why you cannot run coil-overs.
