Default Repainting The Old Girl

Hi People,

Can anyone help me with as much advice as possible in what to expect when stripping my 93 K Plate Cosworth.

The old girl looks great, but after 16 years of original paint some areas have worn thin and need attention.
Its my aim to take the car to a good family friend and use his bodyshop to take this project on.

My aim is to strip all the body kit from the car, and strip all the glass from the car and look at the condition of the car.
My bodyshop has never taken one of these cars apart and although i trust them fully i would be so greatfull with any info tips and what parts i am going to need and where can i get these parts from.

So people please could anyone that has done this pass me on some help.

Regards

Gareth

if you are just taking the kit and glass off then the only thing that i can think of is the sideskirt clips being an issue as these always seem to snap being plastic.

i'd change all the weather strips and door and boot seals all still available from ford as theres no point putting old rubbers back on if your doing the shuts that is.
