Will a standard engine with a piper T2 take this?

my standard rods took it on the same cam, forged low comp pistons though @25psi

 

Why when your peak power isnt going to be anywhere near 7100rpm

It's a freshly rebuilt engine done about 500miles so am still runnig in, but i've got a 5th injector kit to fit and thought it might be worth raising the limit to get the most out of it, once it's done another 1000miles or so.

 

Could end in tears.

 

Dont normal lifters sturggle above 6500 ish rpm

 

not always, mine do 7400 no problem.

Rick what spec engine are you running? 7400 is very impressive!

 

From what I remember his is all forged steel bottom end. As T28 said though you don't really need to rev it that hard, I had the same cam and didn't take it that high (much)
