Default Rev limiter raised to 7100

Will a standard engine with a piper T2 take this?
It's the rods that give up first isnt it?

Thanks!

yeah i've read lots of varying opinions on this!

Kiddie really?? Thats impressive!

It's a freshly rebuilt engine done about 500miles so am still runnig in, but i've got a 5th injector kit to fit and thought it might be worth raising the limit to get the most out of it, once it's done another 1000miles or so.

From what I remember his is all forged steel bottom end. As T28 said though you don't really need to rev it that hard, I had the same cam and didn't take it that high (much)
