Default What would you replace your escort cosworth with?

I know a few of you will say nothing, as its your dream car, bla, bla, bla, lol.

But if you was to replace it, what would you get and why? Im not looking for idea's, just intrested in what other cossie owners taste in cars are.

I had a lotus exige before mine and on my short list was a Lancia delta integrale evo and a Renault clio V6.

A 997 GT3 RS would keep me amused. Having spent the weekend thrashing one around a track in France, I would be quite happy with just this car and no others.

Tbh. It would just be something like:

Focus ST3
Audi A4 Convertable

or poss a TVR Cerbra if i was having a mad five mins !..lol.

But tbh its my hobbie and has been for years now, I would rather it sat in the garage and was not used , than sell her.

i went from an evo 6 to the escos, then 5 doors and sensible(ish) made me go the focus ST route, tbh, its a quicker car than the escos ever was in the real world with the amount of torque and NO turbo lag - the only thing i miss is the 4x4 system, having my last 3 cars over 8 years being 4x4s, you do get used to it.

tbh, these cars that everyone is choosing aren't really the same league - admitidly, if money was no object then yes they make sense, but in reality, what do you get for your 15K when you've sold your escos....?

Has to be said Focus ST's are FANTASTIC cars, first new car I have been impressed with for a long time, great all round cars, but as you say the ONLY thing letting them down is poxy FWD .... Bit of an own goal there when they have the chance to take on subaru and mitsubishi.

Agree with the prices people are looking at, bit of a different game really but I always find people tend to spend more on thier next car, so anything upto 30k is fair game really. My Escos will be going nowhere though, can't see me ever selling it
