just upgraded to a airtech front mount cooler and rad, ive found that even with the twins fans they seem to stay in longer when the car is stood still but i take it this is due to the intercooler covering the rad and the fans being confined behind the front bumper as its a tight squeeze to get them in ?

 

Yes mate. Unfortunate byproduct of fitting a full size front mount.

Not much you can do but making sure your cooling system is in peak condition will help.

 

coswurv would you recommend the airtec intercooler?I know they are a good price.

 

keep an eye on my thread in the resto section on this car as its going to power engineering next friday afternoon for a setup and power run so i'll let you know then, but seems to work fine at the minute and the build and fitment quality for the cooler and rad is really good mate i would defo reccomend them

why do you think there so cheap there made in china and are one of the worst about i don’t know why A-s took them on. As they 1st got offered to pro alloy lol. have you ever seen the welds they are like Steve wonder has made them and the cores are very poor imo you pay for what you get as they say.pro alloy imo are the best about for quality workman ship

 

they might be made in china but lets face it what isnt !, as for the welds they are spot on i'll take some pics to prove it, they are good quality and the kit fits very well, your talking shite, you might find a handfull of people might agree with you but to be honest how many thousands have they sold mate and the website is always out of stock,

 

In a word bullshit i had a Pro alloy cooler on my series 1 running 220bhp with astronomical ACTs i orderd a GRS cooler but they was a 2 months waiting list so got a air tech for the time being this was last summer and the air tech one is still on and the GRS sold to a mate mine has been spot on and as for the welds been done by stevie wonder again bullshit IMO the quality of my air tech stands up to the previous poor performance Pro alloy

But only My oppinion and speaking from experiance as ive had both fitted
