Cam belt change on mondeo 1.8 td
Its that time...the dreaded timing belt change!
Can any one supply with the correct info, ie settings etc that I will need to do this.
Its a 97 mk2 mondeo 1.8 turbo diesel estate

The are no setting as such, you just need a PIN kit, top keep cam/pump etc aligned, very easy job to do, kits are about £15 or so.
Maker sure you change BOTH the cam belt AND the pump belt, as this is often left, but easy to do, and snaps and then gets caught in the cam belt taking the engine with it, you may want to at least check the shims whilst there, as a lot easier to do when doing belt.
