can anyone help i am part way converting my escort cosworth to rwd i need to nohow much the 2wd propshaft needs shortening and if i can buy a proper gearbox mount to mount the t5 box any help and i would be most grateful thanks

 

I think when you install the gearbox, the length can be measured individually.

 

on a previous car i had i think it was a 3dr gearbox mount with 2wd prop and rear axel.

 

Take 60mm out of the REAR section of the prop......

I will PM you the finis code of the mount you need tomorrow when i dig it out

 

thanks for the info all of you would be very grateful if you could send me that finis code diva diva did your rwd escort handle ok going to be all 2wd cos stuff i use with polybushes etc would you advise going down the adjustable tca and compression strut route or just use standard tca and rollbar off a 2wd cos thanks again for the info would be nice to see some pics of your car diva
